Privacy Policy

To me it seems somewhat odd typing this, as online privacy is something that is very very close to my heart.
Trying to get me to part with any details to a website is not an easy thing. I even assign each site its own email address so that should I start getting spam I know where it originated and can blackhole all email coming to that address. Tis one of the biggest benefits of owning your own domain.
Anyways, to the point in question.
On 26th May 2012 the EU cookie law (e-Privacy Directive) came into effect.
In a very simplistic nutshell, if a website collects any information about you it has to let you know and give you the option to not have that information collected.
Easy-IT, under normal circumstances, does not use any tracking cookies and does not collect information from you.
However, if you leave a comment or subscribe to a post we will ask for your email address, so the site can email you when there are updates or if I wish to respond to a comment.
I do not use third party cookies, like Google Ads, either.
I can ensure you that any information I do collect, like if you give us your email address, it will not be supplied to anyone else.
The site is updated and maintained by a single person, so I am the only person that has access to the information.
The database that stores the information is suitably protected.
Please enjoy the site and rest assured I have no interest in your email address.
