Ride 3 with an Observer

What a cracking day. Another warm, sunny cloudless day. Even better, I was not feeling half as sore as I thought I would after yesterday’s spill.

This time it was a meet opposite Loomies at 11:00.
There are two car parks at the pub, and I came in on the one my Observer was not in. So, with my usual flair I slow rode over the dividing pavement and between two bikes to be where I wanted to be.
Some people did seem a bit unamused, but I thought it was quite funny ๐Ÿ™‚

The ride was great, though there is not much more to add.
At the end of the day there are three of you out for a ride, riding great roads in great weather.
The big difference is that we are mastering riding smoothly, getting from A to B as quickly as possible without breaking speed limits or thrashing the bike.

I have really noticed that my riding is a lot smoother, and a lot more effortless.
There is even more time to enjoy the sweep of the bend, the long overtake, and anticipate the road ahead as you peek a glimpse of it across the fields.

When I got back home, the neighbour down the road got his bike trailer out and we went and recovered the XT.
